In-house incubator of search engine giant Google, Area 120, has now launched a project titled Stack, an application which is similar to Chinese app CamScanner, will used for scanning, storing, and organising important documents.
Similar to CamScanner and Adobe Scan, Stack allows users to scan the documents, bills or receipts via camera of their phones and saves a copy of the documents to Google Drive.
Stack is built with AI capabilities and automatically names the documents it scans, and also suggests the right category of the file.
According to the reports, Stack identifies important information in the documents, like due date or total amount due, which makes it easier for the users to find and access the information. Along with all other features, the users will be able to search through the full text of the documents to quickly find whatever they require.
At present, Stack is only available on Android in the United States only and the Alphabet-owned company has said that this app is in early stages and it is working on improving it every day.
